The day before we closed on our old house, PODS came to pick up our stuff and while they drove away, they broke our driveway. Now, normally, PODS and their trucks should be ok on a driveway, but since they have a double axle truck, BOTH tires need to be on the driveway, not one on and one in the grass! We had to eat the cost of the driveway in order to close on our house, but we are still trying to get PODS to pay us back. They do not return our calls and are taking their sweet time on letting us know whether or not they will reimburse us. The driver admitted responsibility for the incident but apparently that doesnt mean anything. Small claims court is looking more and more like the best option for us. I will keep you posted.
