For two days straight, we were glued to our TV watching the news and weather. It paid off yesterday afternoon, as it started snowing lightly at first and then with a vengeance to leave us with about 1/2 inch to an inch of snow. Yeah, yeah, Northerners, I don't want to hear your "We are better than you" attitude, making fun of an inch of snow. We woke up to a sort of winter wonderland. The boys have been out making snow angels, snow balls, and just having fun in it. It is supposed to stick around for a couple of days. The downside to a snow day: The boys have to go to school for 1/2 day on Saturday. We are grateful they didn't take the 17th away, since we were planning on taking a mini trip somewhere....it's kind of cool to be able to take a trip to another state in a matter of 30 minutes to an hour!!! Anyway, here are a few pictures of our "snow day". Forecast shows more snow in a couple of weeks! Stay tuned!
Love,
K
