I have seriously slacked on my blog and I apologize. I just realized that it has been ALMOST a year since I wrote an entry. So, without further ado, I will catch up on the happenings of la familia de Adams. I am going to start with the beginning of the summer.
Love,
K
My sweet Maxwell had his tonsils removed at the beginning of the summer. He had an awful year of non stop strep, so this was very necessary.
On July 6, Maxwell turned 11!!!!!! OMG! I can not believe that my youngest is 11!
Seth's friends, Seth and Ty came to visit again this summer. My Seth flew out to Texas for a couple of weeks and then flew back with his buddies and they stayed here for a couple of weeks. They are such sweet boys.
Ashton turned 14 on July 10th!!
Seth has his license now. What a wonderful help he is to be able to drive and grab groceries for us. :)
We met my parents and sister in Gatlinburg in August. It is such a cool town. I hadn't been there since I was a little girl, so it was neat to take my kids there and show them around. I am so grateful that we went when we did, because a lot of it is gone, due to the fires. So sad...
Dollywood was a blast!
On the Dollywood Express
Ash and I were the only ones to brave the ski lift up to the top of the mountain. It was beautiful up there! Seth and Max stayed at the bottom and waited for us.
My sweet parents. They honeymooned here. Aren't they cute??
Making taffy.
Max had his party with a few friends at the local mini golf and race track. I know.. only in Charlotte, home of Nascar. :)
Ashton drove our car.
We went to Carowinds with our friends. So cool to be able to be in North and South Carolina at once!
We ended our summer, with a drive to Chicago. My husband travels there quite often for work and the boys had never been, so we took them and showed them around and where dad works.
Of course, pizza.
First Cubs game!!!
Love.

We took a water taxi to Navy Pier.
