We left Cologne on another high speed train...this time to Paris, France. It took about 4 hours or so but it was nice, smooth, quiet ride into France. The weather was rainy and cold when we finally arrived into NORD station but it was still so magical. I really felt like I must be dreaming to actually be here. Beautiful city, beautiful, wonderful people. Trey and I spent our time walking the city, marveling at the awe-inspiring views, and climbing the many thousands of stairs to get to those awe-inspiring views.:) We are now experts in the Paris subway system. HEHE. We went up the Eiffel Tower one night, visited the Louvre, visited Versailles, Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile, many beautiful bridges, shops, markets, and cafes. A huge thank you to all of the Paris team who helped make us feel at home and very welcome. They took us out on a dinner cruise on the Seine the last night we were there. We couldn't have had a perfect ending to our trip.
Love,
K
