Last Day of Christmas Vacation

It is a cold, rainy, glorious day! We woke up expecting to see some snow on the ground, but to our dismay, there was only a bunch of water. To the weatherman's credit, I will say we got a few minutes of sleet. Trey was back at work, so the boys and I ate a fun breakfast: cereal, bagels, bacon and hot chocolate. We played some Old Maid(Seth was the Old Maid twice in a row) and then it was time to meet Trey for lunch in San Marcos. After that, we headed home, built a fire, and built a fort. Ashton and Max had so much fun trying to keep Lucille out of their fort. They were laughing and giggling so hard... poor Lucille is now passed out in the floor. I doubt she will get up again today. Seth was upstairs with a friend, playing video games. Such a nice, relaxing day and a great way to wrap up our last official day of Christmas break. We will enjoy a nice weekend, then back to the grind on Monday. Love, K
